Description

The winch tensioner is designed for the installation and maintenance of overhead lines (catenary) for heavy rail networks.

This unit is provided with container locks for mounting on a flatbed rail wagon.

There are a pair of winch tensioners provided. Each is capable of taking a drum size of 2000mm diameter x 1050mm wide weighting up to 6000Kg.

These winch tensioners can be operated individually or simultaneously as a pair. There is an automatic fairlead cable guide system provided that can be operated in manual or automatic mode.

The winch tensioner is fully self-contained with diesel power pack, manual and digital controls together with data logger.

Access points are provided in both sides of the winch tensioner with interlocked folding access steps and safety rail system.

The winch tensioner can be operated in winch mode, tensioner mode or freewheeling made with the aid of drag brake.

The operator is provided with a safety enclosure and operator-present deadman switch is supplied.

Parts Books & Operating Instructions

The equipment is supplied with one copy of an operation manual which includes operating instruction, safety information, major assembly drawing, hydraulic and electrical schematics (if applicable), etc. Additional copies are available upon request at nominal cost.

Change in Specification

Specification provided is approximate, it can be confirmed on the quote if requested.

Design and improvement of products is a continuous process. We, therefore, reserve the right to make design improvements differing from this specification after receipt of an order. However, any major changes will only be made with the approval of the customer or its’ representatives.

Warranty

12 months parts and labour in accordance with guarantee and sales conditions.
