Redmond Gary Australia has developed a comprehensive range of skid and trailer mounted recovery winches. These winches are available in 20kN, 40kN and 60kN versions. They can be provided with fibre or steel ropes and feature automatic layer winding using Archimedes screw. They also feature tension, distance and speed monitoring with the aid of Robway 1550 console which can be programmed to give constant line pull and constant speed functionality throughout the pull. The load monitor also has the capability of downloading data onto a laptop giving details of the pull, both in printout and diagrammatic format indicating date, time and all parameters of the pull. All winches feature enclosed power pack and ultra safe, fully enclosed drum design giving maximum protection to the operators and bystanders.
